Duplex Ball Valves are crafted from duplex stainless steel, which contains about 22–25% chromium, 5–7% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, and controlled nitrogen. This combination results in a well-balanced ferritic-austenitic microstructure that provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. On the mechanical side, duplex steel offers high tensile and yield strength, remarkable fatigue resistance, and excellent impact toughness. These valves maintain their structural integrity under high pressure, corrosive fluids, and fluctuating temperatures, making them significantly stronger and more dependable than many traditional stainless-steel valve materials.
