Santner Nickel Alloys, located in Hamilton, New Zealand, stands out as a leading manufacturer and supplier of Duplex Steel Wire, providing top-notch solutions for demanding industrial needs. Designed for exceptional strength, impressive corrosion resistance, and long-lasting durability, this wire meets the strict standards necessary for tough environments. With a commitment to precise manufacturing and rigorous quality control, Santner Nickel Alloys delivers dependable performance across various industries. Duplex Steel Wire is commonly utilized in sectors like chemical processing, oil and gas, marine, and power generation, ensuring secure, durable connections and structural support while maintaining integrity under high mechanical stress, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive conditions.
Duplex Steel Wire is made up of about 22% chromium, 5–6% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, with the remainder being iron and trace amounts of nitrogen. Its unique dual-phase ferritic-austenitic microstructure grants it remarkable tensile strength, high yield strength, and excellent toughness. The wire shows outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-rich or aggressive settings. Moreover, it boasts excellent fatigue resistance, ductility, and thermal stability, ensuring reliable mechanical performance. This blend of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength makes Duplex Steel Wire perfect for critical applications in industrial, marine, and chemical environments.
